Dr. Bruce Pendley has spent more than three decades doing what he loves most: caring for patients and families across every stage of life. As the Medical Director of In Good Health, he brings the kind of steady, experienced leadership that gives both patients and clinical staff confidence that they are in good hands.
His academic foundation is exceptional. He earned his Chemistry degree from Emory University in Atlanta in 1983—a rigorous scientific grounding that would define his evidence-based approach to medicine—before going on to complete his MD at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1987.
Following medical school, Dr. Pendley completed his Family Practice Residency in Rome, Georgia (1987–1990), emerging as a board-certified physician through the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). His specialty training in Hospice and Palliative Care gave him a profound perspective on the human side of medicine.
Today, Dr. Pendley works closely alongside Dr. Laurie Davis, NP, who leads day-to-day patient care. Together, under the umbrella of AlwaysInGoodHealth.com, they offer patients a seamless experience grounded in trust, expertise, and genuine compassion.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Pendley is a devoted husband to Debbie—the love of his life—and a proud father. His focus on health is deeply personal: he wants to be the greatest positive force in his family’s wellbeing so he can enjoy every moment with them.
